Abstract: In the context of many risks and challenges faced by the global supply chain, enter⁃ prises, as the key builders of this system, undoubtedly assume the "key role" in optimizing its ef⁃ ficiency. Digitalization, recognized as a new quality productive force that promotes the highquality development of enterprises, provides an excellent opportunity for the digital remodeling  and efficiency upgrading of the enterprise supply chain. With its excellent capabilities in data in⁃ tegration, fast information processing, and technology-driven force, digitalization has established  a new collaborative model and operation system based on the traditional supply chain to unlock  maximum efficiency potential. These technologies have effectively broken through the barriers to  information flow between the supply chain's upstream and downstream segments, shortening the  response time for collaboration among different nodes. This has greatly promoted the integration  and precise docking of resources such as logistics, information flow, and capital flow, profoundly  improving the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Therefore, conducting in-depth research on  this topic is of great practical significance. It can help unlock the enabling value of enterprise  digital transformation in the field of supply chain and assist enterprises in developing an effi⁃ cient and agile supply chain system. This paper analyzes data from A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from  2010 to 2022. The results show that the digital transformation of enterprises has a significant  positive impact on the efficiency of the supply chain and the conclusion is still valid after con⁃ ducting a series of robustness and endogeneity tests. The mechanism test shows that the digital  transformation of enterprises can promote supply chain efficiency by improving the efficiency of  technology research and development, production and manufacturing, operation management, and marketing services. The heterogeneity test finds that enterprise digital transformation has a  more significant effect on the supply chain efficiency of non-state-owned enterprises, smallscale enterprises, enterprises with low R&D investment, and enterprises with executives lacking  social capital. The economic consequence test indicates that the improvement in supply chain ef⁃ ficiency resulting from enterprise digital transformation can further promote improving enterprise  total factor productivity. The conclusions of this study expand the relevant research on enterprise  digital transformation and enlightenment for enterprises to accelerate this process while maximiz⁃ ing its enabling effect on the supply chain. Enterprises should seize the opportunity of digital  transformation, enhance the use of digital technology to address their supply chain management  challenges, and wisely invest resources in R&D. Different types of enterprises should adopt digi⁃ tal technologies that align with their unique characteristics. Ultimately, these efforts aim to im⁃ prove the efficiency of the supply chain, enhance enterprises' competitiveness, maintain the sta⁃ bility and security of the supply and industrial chains, and help enterprises achieve sustainable  development in the digital era.
