Abstract: New quality productivity is a kind of productivity oriented by science and technology innovation. "New" implies new elements, new technologies, and new industries, and "quality" indicates high-quality, multi-quality, and double-quality effects. Accelerating the develop ment of new quality productivity of enterprises is of great practical significance ⁃ , as it targets over⁃ coming the "bottleneck" of crucial technologies, facilitates the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and ultimately drives towards high-quality economic development. This study selects the data of A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2022 as the research  sample to measure the level of new quality productivity of enterprises based on the two-factor  theory of production. It uses a quasi-natural experiment of supply chain innovation and applica⁃ tion pilot to construct a difference-in-differences model to empirically investigate the impact of  intelligent supply chain construction on the new productivity of enterprises and its mechanism. The results show that intelligent supply chain construction significantly improves the new quality  productivity of enterprises. The above conclusion has passed the parallel trend test, endogeneity  test, and a series of robustness tests. Mechanism test results indicate that the enhancement effect  of intelligent supply chain construction on the new quality productivity of enterprises is mainly  realized through two paths: promoting firms' digital transformation and improving firms' ESG  performance. Further research finds that there are significant differences in the effects of intelli gent supply chain construction on the new productivity of enterprises in different contexts, ⁃ and  the effects of intelligent supply chain construction on the new productivity of enterprises in the  samples of private enterprises and key industries are more significant than those of state-owned  enterprises and non-pilot key industries. The above findings have the following theoretical and practical significance. In terms of  theoretical contributions, this study places intelligent supply chain construction and new quality  productivity of enterprises in the same research framework for the first time and identifies the  causal relationship between the two and their intrinsic mechanism, which enriches the empirical  research on intelligent supply chain and expands the research perspective on the new quality  productivity of enterprises. From the perspective of guiding practice, this study provides impor⁃ tant insights for cultivating the new quality productivity of enterprises: firstly, accelerate the rep⁃ lication and promotion of the typical experience of supply chain innovation and application pilot  work, while enhancing the supply chain visualization and intelligence; secondly, leverage the  construction of intelligent supply chains to guide enterprises in advancing digital transformation  and ESG performance, while accelerating the cultivation and sustainable enhancement of new  quality productivity; thirdly of intelligent supply chains , implement targeted policies for the weaker links in the construction  , thereby enhancing the precision and effectiveness of these policies  to help enterprises boost new quality productivity.

Key words: intelligent supply chain construction; new quality productivity of enterprises; digi⁃ tal transformation; ESG performance
