Abstract: The transformation of traditional logistics industry to digital logistics has become an inevitable trend, and in-depth research on the international competitive situation and cuttingedge hot technologies of digital logistics technology, so as to provide important reference for the forward-looking layout and policy formulation of the digital transformation of China's industrial chain and supply chain. Based on incoPat patent database, this paper analyze the technological life cycle, international competitive situation, and cutting-edge hot areas in the field of digital lo⁃ gistics from three perspectives of time development, competitive countries comparison, and tech⁃ nological analysis by using Logistic model, patent econometric analysis, and social network analysis. It is found that the hot areas of digital logistics technology are concentrated in the fields of information communication, data image processing, mechanical sorting, wireless sensing and so on. China, the United States, Japan, Republic of Korea and Germany have strong competitive advantages in the global digital logistics field. Among them, China's digital logistics technology started later, but the advantage of latecomers is stronger, and the patents in the past decade have shown an "exponential" explosive growth. However, compared with the U.S., China is still stuck in the frontier and core technology of digital logistics. It is suggested strengthening basic re⁃ search and the industry-university-research institutions collaborative innovation around the key common technology areas of "digital + logistics", so as to realize the "soft and hard" au⁃ tonomy and control of digital logistics technology.
